Karl Korem – 1918
Karl Koorem / Karl Korem (Carl Adolf Korem) was the son of Johann Korem (born 5/25/1847) and Anna Katarina Kruse (born 9/14/1850). His parents were married in Kuresaarre, Saaremaa in 1872. He was born 4/8/1875 in Arensburg (pre 1919 German name for Kuresaarre) .
Karl was a carpenter and cared for the Loode Oak Forest where they were given a home. In 1910 he married Miina Toomson. They had 8 children. He died on the night of Christmas Eve 12/24/1929 after an accident and is buried in Kudjape Cemetery in Kuressaare.
